All powerful and unseen God, the coming of your light into the world has brightened weary hearts with peace. Call us out of the darkness and empower us to proclaim the birth of your son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

¹ Sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done marvelous things;
his right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
² The LORD has made his salvation known
and revealed his righteousness to the nations.

and his faithfulness to Israel;

the salvation of our God.

burst into jubilant song with music;
